Las Vegas entertainer’s 1st anniversary of South American prison release – what’s next?!
Trina Johnson-Finn, singer and actress, was falsely accused and imprisoned in South America for impersonating another singer – the true ‘criminals’ were apprehended. Over 100 days later, Johnson-Finn was released. It has been one year to the date since that harrowing experience ended for Trina, her family (husband, Raymond) and friends. Now her life can continue in the world of music and acting!
Johnson-Finn has appeared on The Grammy’s, Oprah, and the American Music Awards as well as on stage with great entertainers from Barbra Streisand to MC Hammer.
Today marks the one year anniversary of the release of local Las Vegas Entertainer and Celebrity Tribute Artist, Trina Johnson-Finn, after being fully acquitted of all charges of presenting herself as Toni Braxton at a sold-out concert in the Republic of Suriname.
With the assistance of local Las Vegans, local press, the Tribute Artist Industry and thousands of worldwide supporters, attention to Trina’s plight finally achieved international awareness through a grass-roots internet campaign fighting for her release. Wow…. I just saw her perform at the Capitol Jazz Festival this past weekend onstage with the Family Stone! I had no idea this was the same lady… I read about her story over a year ago here in the Bay Area. She has a fantastic voice and is beyond hot!
Glad to see her getting her life back together.
Damn. 104 days in a south american prison… she got more street-cred than 90% of the rappers!
And she looks fine as hell and can sing her ass-off!!! Are you kidding me? Where’s the record-deal…
