Daughtry Bassist Josh Paul turns Clothing Designer

Platinum selling rock band Daughtry is currently traveling throughout the United States and Canada on their Leave This Town arena tour but that hasn’t slowed down bassist Josh “JP” Paul from launching his own clothing line. The simple yet eye catching Washing Machine Clothing was launched with its limited edition ‘Fabric Stripped 4 Line Hoodie’ ($59.99) which is available in two color selections black/white or grey/red last month. Washing Machine Clothing had its official launch party this past weekend in JP’s hometown of Fresno, CA during a tour stop to the area.

The line, which is available exclusively through http://www.washingmachineclothing.com, features the hoodies along with men’s and women’s logo shirts. Prices range from $28.99 for the logo shirt to $99.99 for the Washing Machine starter kit which includes a “Fabric Stripped 4 Line Hoodie,” Washing Machine official logo shirt, Washing Machine Clothing Logo Sticker, Official Josh Paul “Smile Now, Smile Later” Daughtry guitar pick and a personalized autographed photo of Josh Paul wearing the same hoodie ordered.

Joining Daughtry in 2006 Josh Paul came to the band with vast experience in the industry including playing with the Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves and Everlast. “I saw the mohawk and tattoos when he walked in, and I was sold before he played a note,” Chris Daughtry has said reflecting on JP’s audition. “When he started, it was obvious he was born to do what he does. He makes it all look so effortless.” You can currently catch Josh Paul out on tour with Chris and the rest of Daughtry through late June.
