Michael Lynche wins over judges, earns himself only save of ‘American Idol’ season nine (Top 9 results show)

“American Idol” season nine contestant Michael Lynche won over the judges and earned himself the only judges’ save of the season on the Top 9 results show Wednesday. The crowd was 100 percent rallying behind him, and it looked like the judges were really considering using the save during his sing-for-your-life performance.
Michael chose to sing his Top 16 performance show hit “This Women’s Work,” and he truly couldn’t have chosen a better song. If he had performed any of his other prior performances, the judges probably wouldn’t have kept him around.

The other two members of the week three bottom three were Aaron Kelly and Andrew Garcia.

Along with saying goodbye to another “Idol” hopeful, viewers also enjoyed performances from new artist, and apparently Kara DioGuardi find, Jason Derulo and former “American Idol” contestant David Archuleta. Rhianna also performed her new single, “Rock Star 101″
