Melody was eliminated from “Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair” on episode 10, March 14, 2010.
Frank told Melody that the two come from different worlds, and he didn’t feel like her perfect personality was fitting in to his world.
Hooked up
Cathy started the episode out with a bang by admitting that she and Frank had sex. She and Frank snuck down to his basement one night, and Cathy had no problem admitting to viewers that she and Frank hooked up, although she did say she would never kiss and tell with the women.
The next morning, Cathy was almost caught in her lie of she just went to bed the previous night, and it brought up more feelings of suspicion for Kerry. She just knew Cathy was hiding something from her.
Later, Kerry learned exactly what was going on after Cathy started hysterically crying after seeing Felicia go in to Frank’s basement with him. Part of her tears were because she is the only woman who hasn’t had a date with Frank, and part of her tears were because she wasn’t sure if Frank was just keeping her around because she was sleeping with him.
Kerry was shocked and really torn apart by Cathy’s admission. What made things even worse was that Cathy would not stop talking to her about it. Her constant chatter prompted Kerry to speak with Frank privately about her feelings that he was lying to her. Frank knew he was busted, but he tried to explain it away by saying he is just trying to find the woman he who is right for him. He also told her he completely respects her decision to wait until it is just the two of them.
Therapy 101
To help him make his decision, Frank brought in a therapist this week. She met with Frank’s parents first, and then met with the women individually.

After the therapy session, Frank decided to take Melody on a date to see if he could get the chemistry going. She was very up front with Frank that she came for love and that she was looking for someone to make her laugh. Frank said even after that date he couldn’t find anything wrong with Melody, but that not having anything wrong with her is a problem for him.
Another woman that received a date after the therapy session was Dana, but her date with Frank didn’t go so smoothly. At first, things were going OK, but then, everything hit the fan! Dana was caught off guard that Frank wouldn’t want his wife to hang around men without him, and Frank lost it when she didn’t understand why that upsets him. Dana called him a psycho and stormed off. Frank yelled a little bit longer, and then realized that maybe he overreacted. The couple ended up making up and taking things out, but for a minute, I thought Dana was going to leave right then and there.
The third, and final, woman to receive a date with Frank after the therapy session was Felicia. During the date, Felicia brought up her annoyance with Frank constantly talking himself down. He loved that she put him in her place, but Felicia was just trying to get across that she wouldn’t be there with him if she didn’t think he was worthy of her.
