Backstage at the pre-Academy Awards
Actors, and additional cast and crew, not only have to rehearse for the work they do in films, but they have to rehearse at awards’ events as well. The Academy Awards is no exception.
The first week, weekend, and even the day of the Oscars, all lead up to The Academy Awards. This immense hustle and bustle is normal for all involved in the intensive preparations of honoring those well deserved in the entertainment industry.
There have been, and continue to be, up until the first moment the event is aired, an all out mass of preparing in all areas of this event. (Oscar AP Photo/Amy Sancetta)

A few of those areas included in such preparations are the – actors, speeches, promo, nominations, lighting and sound checks, food, tents, Oscar statue placements, award categories, plan B for weather changes or other possible ‘mishaps,’ makeup, hair, extras to fill in for talent, seating, set design, parties, media and the list goes on.
